AMERICANA 2007: “Environmental Ambassadors” representatives (as the part of multistakeholder delegation from Serbia) participated from March 20 at the Montréal Convention Centre on the theme ENVIRONMENT FUELLING THE ECONOMIC ENGINE. At the event, more than 160 speakers discussed current environmental issues with the 10.000 participants from more than 60 countries. Created in 1995 and held every two years, AMERICANA is organized by RESEAU environnement.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper in his speech pointing out that preserving the environment (with a balanced action plan including rebates on fuel-efficient vehicles and efficient alternative fuel vehicles), developing a new National Water Strategy, and by providing $1.5 billion to establish a Canada ecoTrust for Clean Air and Climate Change, environment is becoming one of priorities for government.

European ECO-Forum Strategy Meeting, 1-3 March 2007, Brussels – NGOs strategy meeting preparation "From Kiev to Belgrade: Implementing EfE decisions jointly" coordinated by Pan-European Coalision of Environmental Citizens Organisation ECO-Forum held in Brussels. "Environmental Ambassadors" President Andjelka Mihajlov, participated, representing SEE Regional Network FORUM EfE07.
