Accreditation is the main entry point for CSOs into policy dialogue at UNEP. Environmental leader of Western Balkan – "Environmental Ambassadors" president has been recognized as the environmental leader of Western Balkan. Summary of Achievements: Professor Andjelka Mihajlov – Environmental Specialist - Scientist and University Professor had a prominent role in leading the Reform Agenda of Serbia in Environmental Sector from 2001 to 2004; she has been Serbian Minister for the Protection of Natural Resources and Environment from 2002 to 2004. Dr Andjelka Mihajlov was also the head of Country Delegation at the Johannesburg Summit in 2002. She has strategic thinking and rich experience partnering with international organizations as well as about 200 scientific references. Currently, Prof. Mihajlov, who holds a PhD in Technical Sciences beside being a chemical engineer, is teaching Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Technical Sciences – University of Novi Sad and advising general managers of City Public Health Institute of Belgrade. Prof. Mihajlov is member of the Committee for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Advisory Board of the Main Belgrade City Architect. She is also one of the founders and president of "Environmental Ambassadors". For 15 years she has being working for Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable Future; Initiating Environmental Cohesion Process of Western Balkan as a tool for development.She has been recognized as the environmental leader of Western Balkan. Areas of Environmental Action: Business and Industry, Climate Change, Energy, Education, Forest, Poverty, Sustainable Consumption, Urban Environment.
